Film Fund of Animation Film Studio “Soyuzmultfilm”is considered one of the largest Animated Film Studios in Europe. Film Fund of Animation Studio “Soyuzmultfilm” possesses more then 1500 cartoons and puppet animated films. A vast number of these films won numerous awards at prestigious international festivals. Renowned animators such as Yuri Norstein, Fjodor Khitruk, Alexander Ptushko, Ivan Ivanov-Vano, Eduard Nazarov, Harry Bardin, Klara Rumyantseva, Eduard Uspensky, Leonid Shvartsman left their impact on the creation of the collection of Film Fund of Animation Film Studio “Soyuzmultfilm”.


Animated films based on Russian folklore and European fairytales, comedy stories, cheerful and amusing miniatures featuring children and animals, musical tales, sport cartoons as well as detective comedies, which are included in this collection. This collection is a part of the national property and cultural heritage, which raised many generations in Russia.
